The Arun Metalscan 1650 is a portable spectrometer based around CCD technology that can be used for a wide variety of sorting and/or alloy identification applications.
Utilizing a miniature spectrometer system and DC arc excitation, this unit can be transported to the material site, allowing quick and easy identification of your metals.
Widely used among scrap recyclers, the 1650 is capable of analyzing and sorting steel, iron, aluminum, copper, nickel, cobalt, titanium, zirconium, magnesium and zinc alloys - all in just a few seconds.
The system is capable of identifying any material type by base metal and proper alloy identification automatically, without the need to re-run or change programs as with other models. The 1650 can also be set-up to perform pass/fail type analysis that can be set to the users own tolerences.
Operation is simple and easy, with no need to profile, standardize or re-calibrate the equipment.
