Spectrometer
Service and Support

Angstrom Headquarters

Angstrom was incorporated in 1962 and began as a spectrochemical service and supply company. By 1970, the company had grown in size and began manufacturing a 1.5 meter optical emission spectrometer that was one of the best of its kind. Over the years, many new and innovative systems were brought to market that were put to use in production control laboratories in the US and around the world.

Today, Angstrom is the last privately held US company in the world manufacturing arc-spark spectrometers of this type.

Service operations and management are located at the Belleville, Michigan facility. Engineering, software, sales, accounting and customer support are also located here. As all departments are under one roof, you need only call one number to answer any need. Inventory and manufacturing stock is also located in Belleville (near Detroit Metropolitan Airport) for quick parts and supplies delivery to any location in the world.

Service engineers are dispatched from either the Belleville office, or from one of our remote offices. Our service rates are among the best in the industry, with competitive rates for on-site, in-house and preventive maintenance.

Preventive maintenance contracts are available in many different formats that allow you to order only what you need. Contracts are available for Angstrom and non-Angstrom systems, tailored to each instrument type. Please contact our Service Manager, Lonnie Wade, for more details about Angstrom service programs.
